Spalding finished 2022 ranked No. 121 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

As a result of the outstanding season, Schmitt was named the Baltimore Ravens High School Coach of the Year.

As the 2022 Ravens High School Coach of the Year, Schmitt received an additional $2,000 donation toward Spalding's football program and was the Ravens nominee for the NFL's 2022 Don Shula High School Football Coach of the Year Award

Below, Coach Schmitt talks with High School Football America's Jeff Fisher about how he’s building the program to complete against the best in the country.
