Podcast: Indianapolis Colts High School Coach of the Year Eric Moore
The last three years have been filled with plenty of highs and lows for Center Grove High School head coach Eric Moore.
Moore has led his team to monumental highs on the field. This year, he piloted the Trojans to their third straight Class 6A state championship. Moore is closing in on 300 career victories as a head coach.
During the last five years, Center Grove has been a regular in the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football. In 2022, the Trojans finished No. 70 in the national rankings.

But off the field, Moore is battling cancer. The personal struggle has taught Moore many life lessons that he now imparts upon his team.
This year, Moore was honored with the 2022 Indianapolis Colts High School Coach of the Year award. Moore will be a candidate for the NFL's Don Shula High School Coach of the Year award, presented annually to one of the 32 NFL club nominees.
