Podcast: Las Vegas Raiders High School Coach of the Year Brent Lewis

The Las Vegas Raiders presented Moapa Valley head football coach Brent Lewis with their 2022 Tom Flores High School Coach of the Year Award.

Lewis was honored along with his entire team in a surprise ceremony at Allegiant Stadium. Raiders Youth Football Manager Jordan Aguilar, NFL Legend and former Raiders QB Jim Plunkett, and current Raiders wide receiver Albert Wilson spoke to Coach Lewis and his team and presented Lewis with the award.

The Raiders awarded Coach Lewis with $2,000 and nominated him for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award. The award was presented during last month's Pro Bowl Games. 

Moapa Valley finished the 2022 season 11-1, with its lone loss coming against Truckee (California) in the Nevada 3A championship game.

In 21 years as a head coach, Brent Lewis owns a career record of 184-64. The Moapa Valley alumnus has led the school to four of its 17 high school football championships.
