Rich Hansen Discusses His Coaching Career On The High School Football America Podcast

Rich Hansen, head football coach at St. Peter’s Prep (Jersey City, NJ), will be hanging-up his whistle at the end of the 2020 high school football season.

Hansen is the dean of North New Jersey high school football coaches, ranking fifth on the state’s all-time coaching victories list with 275 wins in 33 years as the head man of the Marauders. St. Peter’s Prep is currently ranked No. 7 in the High School Football America 100 national high school football rankings.

The New York Giants and Gatorade selected Coach Hansen as the Lou Rettino High School Coach of the Week for Week 3 of the 2020 season. After Hansen received the honor, High School Football America’s Jeff Fisher spoke to him on a wide array of topics from his early years as a head coach to the importance of having great assistant coaches.
