Soldotna Leads Preseason HSFA Alaska Top 5 Rankings
Soldotna opens the 2026 season in a familiar position — at the top of the High School Football America Alaska Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
The Stars, who will be looking for their fourth straight state title, were a perfect 10-0 last season and will bring a 13-game win streak into the new year.
One of the biggest games in Alaska this season will be a showdown between Soldotna and Wyoming’s Star Valley, winner of four straight 3A state titles. The Braves are riding a 33-game win streak.
