Avon Finishes No. 1 In Final 2024 HSFA Ohio Top 25 High School Football Rankings
For the first time ever, Avon is the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Eagles finish 2024 at the top of HSFA’s statewide rankings, created with its proprietary algorithm, after winning the Division II championship with a perfect 15-0 record.
Falling in behind Avon is Division I champ Olentangy Liberty at No. 2. Like Avon, Liberty’s No. 2 finish is the highest for the school since HSFA began its Ohio rankings in 2013.
Division I runner-up Archbishop Moeller finishes this season at No. 3, followed by Archbishop Hoban at No. 4 and Massillon Washington at No. 5.
Division III champ Bishop Watterson jumps from No. 24 to No. 11 in the final Top 25. The Eagles denied Toledo Central Catholic a third straight state title with a 19-14 win at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. The loss dropped TCC from No. 7 to No. 12 in the final rankings.
