First In-Season Hawaii Top 10
After a one-point scare against No. 5 Saint Louis, Kahuku remains No. 1 in the first in-season High School Football America Hawaii Top 10. Next up for the three-time reigning Open Division champ is Nevada’s Bishop Gorman, ranked No. 2 in the HSFA national rankings. Kahuku is ranked No. 30 in the preseason HSFA 300.
No. 3 Punahou will also be tested by a highly ranked, out-of-state opponent. The Buff n’ Blue will host California’s Sierra Canyon, ranked No. 27 nationally.
No. 5 Kamehameha Kapalama will be on the road for a tough game in Southern California. The Warriors will face No. 33 Mission Viejo.
Inside the Top 10, No. 2 Mililani will square-off against Saint Louis, which missed a last second field goal that would have upended Kahuku.
