Longest Active High School Football Win Streaks Heading Into 2025
Ohio's Marion Local takes the crown for the nation's longest active high school football winning streak entering 2025. The Flyers have assembled an impressive 64-game winning streak—a record for the Buckeye State—while capturing four consecutive Ohio state championships along the way.
Masterminding this historic run is head coach Tom Goodwin, who has accumulated 325 victories since taking the helm in 1999 and guided the program to an astounding 15 overall state titles.
New York's Garden City holds the second-longest active streak with 54 consecutive victories. The Trojans have matched Marion Local's championship consistency, claiming four straight Long Island high school football titles during their remarkable run.
Virginia's Phoebus High School sits in third place, chasing "one-for-the-thumb" in 2025 with their 48-game winning streak. The Phantoms, who finished No. 166 in the High School Football America 300 powered by NFL Play Football, extended their dominance by capturing their fourth consecutive state championship in 2024.
Wyoming's Sheridan rounds out the programs with 40-plus game streaks, boasting 43 straight victories. Like the teams ahead of them, the Broncs have translated their winning ways into hardware, securing four consecutive Class 4A Wyoming state championships.
Two programs share the fifth-longest streak at 39 games: Oklahoma's Carl Albert and Iowa's Grundy Center, both looking to extend their impressive runs into 2025.
Below are the longest 11-man win streaks heading into 2025.
