Where The NFL Top 100 Players Played High School Football
With Week 1 of the NFL season in the books, High School Football America examined where the Top 100 players played their high school football. The players themselves voted on the Top 100 list.
Texas leads the way with 15 former high school football players taking the field in Week 1. Florida had the second most with 13 former scholastic players. California was third with nine former high school players.
Three high schools have two players each in the Top 100.
- American Heritage (Plantation, Florida) – No. 52 Patrick Surtain II, CB, Denver Broncos; No. 55 Brian Burns, LB, New York Giants
- Northwestern (Miami, Florida) – No. 70 Amari Cooper, WR, Cleveland Browns; No. 99 Lavonte David, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Wenonah (Alabama) – No. 32 Quincy Williams, LB, New York Jets; No. 37 Quinnen Williams, DT, New York Jets
