Where 2025 NFL All-Pros Played in High School

The 2025 Associated Press NFL All-Pro First Team has been announced, and High School Football America is celebrating every honoree by highlighting their high school origins. Texas leads the way with five alumni earning First-Team recognition. Georgia and Utah follow with three representatives each, while Colorado, Iowa, Louisiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin each contributed two former prep stars.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, earning his first All-Pro selection in his 17-year professional career, starred scholastically at Highland Park outside Dallas, Texas. Stafford capped his high school career by leading Highland Park to the Class 4A Division I state championship in 2005.

Despite missing three games during his senior season due to a knee injury, Stafford still amassed 4,000 passing yards with 37 touchdowns. Over his prep career, he threw for 8,921 yards with 91 touchdowns.

The 37-year-old Stafford earned 31 first-place votes compared to 18 for New England Patriots QB Drake Maye, who claimed the Second Team spot. Stafford led the NFL in 2025 with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdowns. His 109.2 passer rating ranked second only to Maye's 113.5 rating.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, who established a new NFL single-season sack record with 23 this year, played his high school football at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. As a senior, he was rated a 5-star college recruit after recording 19.5 sacks.

Joining Garrett and Stafford on the First Team from the Lone Star State are Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Rockwall HS), Miami Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks (Stratford HS), and Jacksonville Jaguars long snapper Ross Matiscik (McKinney Boyd HS).

Including four Second Team selections, a total of nine former Texas high school football players appear on the 2025 All-Pro Teams. Florida ranks second with seven former prep players earning All-Pro honors, followed by Georgia with six. Overall, 27 states are represented, along with Australia, which contributed one player.
