The NFL has launched its Super Bowl LX campaign, "Champion," celebrating the transformative power of youth coaching and mentorship.
Inspired by a real-life coaching scenario, the spot authentically celebrates the lasting impact of a coach’s words and their ability to ignite belief. “Champion” captures that profound influence when a young athlete echoes his coach’s game-day speech to his toys.
“Great coaches don’t just build better athletes on the field – they help inspire and build better human beings, and that impact can stay with kids for a lifetime” said Tim Ellis, NFL chief marketing officer. “When kids are seen, recognized and believed in, it’s a superpower. That’s why we’re using our biggest platform of the year to honor the football coaches, mentors and teachers who empower future generations and strengthen communities.”
Behind every youth football team is a volunteer coach showing up early, staying late, and giving more than what’s required. They’re teaching kids how to line up on the field and how to stand tall in life. This work is a tribute to that dedication; the impact coaches have beyond wins and losses.
Youth football coaches play a critical role in helping young athletes build confidence, character, and resilience. Long after the final whistle blows, the lessons they pass on continue to guide players at school, at home, and in their communities.
