38 Texas High School Football Teams in Preseason HSFA 300 Rankings
The Lone Star State secured 38 spots in the Preseason High School Football America 300.
Leading the pack is Duncanville, ranked at No. 11. The Panthers’ bid for a third consecutive 6A Division I state championship ended last year, as eventual state champ North Crowley defeated them in the state semifinals. North Crowley begins the 2025 season two places behind Duncanville at No. 13, with Southlake Carroll following at No. 22. Last season, Southlake Carroll fell to Vandegrift in the 6A Division II championship.
Westlake, which lost to North Crowley in the state title game, enters our preseason rankings at No. 28, based on our proprietary algorithm.
Allen, which captured three straight HSFA national championships from 2012 to 2014, sits at No. 41. The Eagles claimed those titles with current Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyle Murray leading their offense.
