Four Nevada High School Football Champions Crowned in Allegiant Stadium

For the second year in a row, the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium hosted four Nevada high school football championship games.

Silverado won its second straight Class 4A title, beating Shadow Ridge 51-27. It was a rematch of the 2021 state championship game that was also played at the home of the Raiders.

A California team won Nevada’s 3A title. Truckee, situated on the California/Nevada border, beat SLAM Academy 40-13 for the championship. Truckee, which now owns 13 state titles, has been playing in the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association since the 1980s.

In the 2A championship, the Meadows School beat Lincoln County 27-12. This marks the Mustangs first state football title since 2009. They also won a title in 2008.

Pahranagat Valley overcame a 12-point halftime deficit to Spring Mountain to win its third straight Nevada Class 1A 8-Man high school football championship. The Panthers scored all 18 points in the second half in the 24-18 victory.

The 5A championship was played at Carson High School. Bishop Gorman, ranked No. 6 in the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football, routed Bishop Manogue 70-6 for the school’s 19th overall football championship.
