Interview: Fayetteville High School (Arkansas) Has Two Players in Super Bowl LVIII

Fayetteville High School (Arkansas) will have two former football players taking the field for the San Francisco 49ers for Super Bowl LVIII. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw and backup quarterback Brandon Allen are former Bulldogs, who played under head coach Daryl Patton, who led Fayetteville to four Arkansas state championships.

Coach Patton is very proud of both men, who helped build Fayetteville into one of the best high school football programs in the state. Below, High School Football America’s Jeff Fisher talks with Patton, who is the current head coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas, about his time with Greenlaw and Allen.

Fisher asks Patton about taking over the White Hall program that suffered tragedy in the summer of 2023 when Ryan Mallett, the team’s head coach and a former NFL quarterback, died in a drowning accident.
