Philadelphia Eagles James Bradberry's High School Number Retired

No player at Pleasant Grove High School in Alabama will ever wear No. 10 again. This past weekend, current Philadelphia Eagles defensive back James Bradberry had his high school number retired during ceremonies in the school's gymnasium.

Bradberry, who will be entering his eighth year in the National Football League this year, was an All-State cornerback for Pleasant Grove in 2010. The 2-star college football prospect had nine interceptions and 45 tackles during his senior season.

“This has to be one of the highest honors that I have ever received,” Bradberry told the crowd at Friday's ceremony. “I am part of history. I dreamed of playing in college and in the NFL growing up, but I never dreamed of having my jersey retired.”

The Carolina Panthers selected Bradberry in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He enters 2024 with 19 career interceptions with the Eagles, Panthers and New York Giants.
