Preseason HSFA Hawaii Top 10 High School Football Rankings

The 2025 high school football season kicks-off this weekend in Hawaii.

The Saint Louis Crusaders enter the season ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Hawaii Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The reigning Open Division champs will begin defense of their state championship against the team they beat for the 2024 title, the Kahuku Red Raiders, ranked No. 2 in the our Hawaii statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Explore the HSFA Top 100.

Last year, Kahuku opened the regular season with a narrow one-point win (14-13) over Saint Louis. However, in the state championship game rematch, the Crusaders got the best of the Red Raiders 17-13 for the school’s first Open Division title since 2019. The win also stopped Kahuku’s run of three straight Open titles.

Saint Louis has now won five of the eight state titles in the Open Division era, which began in 2016. If you add-in the Oahu Prep Bowl era, Saint Louis owns 22 overall titles.

Falling-in behind the Crusaders and Red Raiders is Mililani at No. 3 and Campbell at No. 4.

The top four teams are also ranked in the Preseason High School Football America 300 national rankings. Saint Louis is No. 144, followed by Kahuku at No. 157, Mililani at No. 159 and Campbell at No. 188.
